Soft Tissue Ultrasound
Soft tissue ultrasound is a safe and informative examination that evaluates the condition of subcutaneous fat, muscles, ligaments, and other soft tissue structures.
The examination helps detect various soft tissue formations and changes, such as lipomas, cysts, hematomas, inflammatory processes, abscesses, enlarged lymph nodes, and trauma-related changes.
During the procedure, the physician assesses the size, structure, and location of any formation, its relationship to surrounding tissues, and blood supply features when necessary.
The examination is performed using an ultrasound probe through the skin of the area being examined. The procedure is painless, safe, and takes approximately 10–15 minutes.
