Anti-SS-A IgG antibodies, quantitative (ICL)
Detects antibodies to SS-A (Ro) proteins for SLE, Sjögren's syndrome, and other autoimmune CTD diagnosis.
Biomaterial: Venous blood
- Draw blood fasting (8-12 hours without food)
- Exclude alcohol 24 hours before
- Avoid stress and physical activity 30 minutes before
- Suspected SLE or Sjögren's syndrome;
- dry eyes and mucous membranes;
- joint pain, skin rashes;
- elevated ESR/CRP;
- organ involvement;
- autoimmune disease monitoring.
Negative — anti-SS-A not detected.
Positive — characteristic of SLE and Sjögren's.
Rheumatologist consultation recommended.
