Anti-SS-B IgG antibodies, quantitative (ICL)
Detects antibodies to SS-B (La) proteins for Sjögren's syndrome, SLE, and other autoimmune CTD diagnosis.
Biomaterial: Venous blood
- Draw blood fasting (8-12 hours without food)
- Exclude alcohol 24 hours before
- Avoid stress and physical activity 30 minutes before
- Suspected Sjögren's syndrome or SLE;
- dry eyes and mucous membranes;
- joint pain, skin rashes;
- elevated ESR/CRP;
- organ involvement;
- autoimmune disease monitoring.
Negative — anti-SS-B not detected.
Positive — characteristic of Sjögren's and SLE.
Rheumatologist consultation recommended.
