Anti-β2-glycoprotein IgG antibodies, quantitative, ICL
The test quantitatively determines IgG antibodies to β2-glycoprotein 1, which are antiphospholipid syndrome (APS) markers. These antibodies increase thrombosis and pregnancy complication risk and may be found in systemic autoimmune diseases such as SLE.
Biomaterial: Venous blood
- Draw blood fasting (8-12 hours without food)
- Do not drink water
- Exclude alcohol 24 hours before
- Avoid stress and physical activity 30 minutes before
- If taking anticoagulants, immunomodulators, or hormonal drugs — inform physician.
- Suspected antiphospholipid syndrome;
- unexplained venous or arterial thromboses;
- recurrent miscarriages or pregnancy complications;
- autoimmune diseases;
- disease activity and therapy efficacy monitoring.
Negative result — IgG anti-β2-glycoprotein antibodies not detected; APS risk low.
Positive result — IgG anti-β2-glycoprotein antibodies detected; characteristic of primary or secondary APS.
Important: results evaluated only together with clinical picture and other laboratory data.
