B vitamins (B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B7, B9, B12) (B Vitamins: B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B7, B9, B12, Serum)
Comprehensive study of B vitamins participating in energy, protein, and carbohydrate metabolism. B vitamins are necessary for normal nervous system function, hematopoiesis, and neurotransmitter synthesis. The test detects individual vitamin deficiency associated with stress, unbalanced diet, GI diseases, and medications. Recommended for chronic fatigue, neurological symptoms, anemias, and reduced concentration.
Note: This test is NOT intended for screening vitamin status assessment.
What the test evaluates:
- Levels of vitamins B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B7, B9, and B12 in blood serum
- Energy metabolism, nervous system, and hematopoiesis condition
Biomaterial: Venous blood
- Draw blood fasting
- Exclude intense physical activity 24 hours before
Medications:
If possible, discontinue B vitamins 24-48 hours before
- For vitamin status assessment
- With neurological disorders
- With anemias
- With nutrient absorption disorders
Low B vitamin levels - possible individual B vitamin deficiency - energy metabolism, nerve conduction, and hematopoiesis disorders
Normal level - sufficient B vitamin supply
Elevated level - may be associated with vitamin complex intake or medication therapy
Important: Vitamin status correction and treatment prescription determined by physician.
