The test detects antibodies to endomysium, gliadin, and transglutaminase (IgA and IgG), used for diagnosing celiac disease, assessing disease severity, and monitoring gluten-free diet adherence.

Endomysial antibodies:
IgA (EMA IgA, IIF)
IgG (EMA IgG, IIF) — marker of autoimmune damage to the small intestine mucosa
Gliadin antibodies:
IgA (Gliadin IgA, ELISA/ICL)
IgG (Gliadin IgG, ELISA/ICL) — immune system reaction to gluten proteins
Transglutaminase antibodies:
IgA (tTG IgA, ELISA/ICL)
IgG (tTG IgG, ELISA/ICL) — marker of small intestine damage and autoimmune reaction in celiac disease
Biomaterial: Venous blood
- Submit fasting (8-12 hours without food)
- Avoid alcohol for 24 hours
- Avoid stress and physical exertion 30 minutes before
- Inform the doctor if taking immunomodulators, hormonal, or anti-inflammatory medications.
