DNA Ancylostoma duodenale (hookworm) — PCR, qualitative
Detects Ancylostoma duodenale DNA — roundworm causing hookworm disease. PCR detects genetic material even when eggs/larvae destroyed.

- contaminated soil or sand;
- contact with infected earth;
- poor hygiene;

Note: Test detects even small parasite DNA fragments.
Negative — A. duodenale DNA not detected.
Positive — A. duodenale DNA detected; confirms parasite presence.
Physician consultation required at positive result.
Infectious disease parasitologist consultation recommended. Self-treatment not recommended.
