Extended Diagnostics of Autoimmune Hepatitis (Hepato 2): ANA, ASMA, anti-LKM, F-actin IIF — Antinuclear Factor, Antibodies to Smooth Muscle, with Autoantibody Panel (AMA-M2, Sp100, LKM-1, gp210, LC-1, SLA)
The test detects autoantibodies associated with autoimmune hepatitis, including antibodies to the nucleus, smooth muscle, and specific liver markers. Used for diagnosis, disease activity assessment, and therapy monitoring.
Composition (Immunoblot / autoantibody panel):
- ANA (antinuclear factor) — detects autoimmune processes in the body
- ASMA (antibodies to smooth muscle) — marker of type 1 autoimmune hepatitis
- Anti-LKM (Liver Kidney Microsomal type 1) — marker of type 2 autoimmune hepatitis
- F-actin — antibodies to actin filaments, specific marker of autoimmune hepatitis
- AMA-M2 — antimitochondrial antibodies M2, marker of primary biliary cholangitis
- Sp100 — antibodies to nuclear antigen, associated with liver damage
- LKM-1 — Liver Kidney Microsomal type 1, marker of autoimmune hepatitis
- gp210 — antibodies to nuclear pore antigen, associated with primary biliary cholangitis
- LC-1 (Liver Cytosol type 1) — marker of autoimmune hepatitis
- SLA (Soluble Liver Antigen) — marker of severe autoimmune hepatitis
Biomaterial: Venous blood
- Submit fasting (8-12 hours without food)
- Avoid alcohol for 24 hours
- Avoid stress and physical exertion 30 minutes before
- Inform the doctor if taking immunomodulators, hormonal, or anti-inflammatory medications.
Prescribed for:
- suspected autoimmune hepatitis
- elevated liver enzymes (ALT, AST, alkaline phosphatase) without obvious cause
- symptoms of chronic liver damage: fatigue, jaundice, skin itching
- monitoring activity of already diagnosed autoimmune hepatitis
Negative result — autoantibodies not detected.
Positive result — autoantibodies to ANA, ASMA, anti-LKM, and F-actin detected, indicating autoimmune hepatitis.
Important: the result is assessed only together with clinical data and other laboratory indicators.
