Follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) (Follicle-Stimulating Hormone, FSH, Serum)
The test determines the level of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), regulating follicle maturation in women and spermatogenesis in men. Used to assess reproductive function and hormonal balance. Applied in infertility diagnosis, menstrual cycle disorders, and menopausal states. Recommended for absent ovulation, amenorrhea, reduced fertility.

- Follicle-stimulating hormone concentration in blood serum
- Sex gland and pituitary function

- Draw blood fasting
- Exclude intense physical activity 24 hours before

Elevated FSH in women: may indicate menopause, ovarian depletion, or Turner syndrome
