HPV HR, Screening 14 Types + Sample Adequacy Control (Oropharyngeal Cell Scraping)
Test for detecting high oncogenic risk HPV DNA (14 types) in oropharyngeal epithelial cells by PCR in screening format. Allows determination of high oncogenic type presence associated with precancerous and oncological changes of the oropharyngeal area. Includes sample adequacy control.
Biomaterial: Oropharyngeal epithelial cell scraping
Avoid smoking and alcohol for 24 hours; do not eat or drink for 2-3 hours before; do not use oral sprays, rinses, or antiseptics before the test.
Preventive examination of high-risk group patients; chronic inflammatory processes of the oropharynx; suspected HPV infection on ENT specialist or dentist examination; monitoring after HPV treatment; examination of partners of individuals with detected HPV.
Negative — high oncogenic risk HPV DNA not detected, sample adequacy control normal.
Positive — high oncogenic risk HPV DNA detected, physician consultation and additional examination required.
Important: a positive screening result does not mean presence of oncological disease.
