HPV LR, DNA 3 Types (6,11,44) (Oropharyngeal Cell Scraping)
Test for detecting low oncogenic risk HPV DNA types 6, 11, 44 in oropharyngeal epithelial cells by PCR. Used for diagnosing HPV infection of the oropharyngeal mucosa, detecting papillomas and benign changes, and monitoring treatment efficacy.
Biomaterial: Oropharyngeal epithelial cell scraping
Avoid alcohol and smoking for 24 hours; do not eat or drink for 2-3 hours before; do not use mouth rinses, antiseptics, or sprays before the test.
Presence of papillomas or growths in the oropharyngeal area; chronic throat tickling, discomfort, or pain of unclear origin; frequent inflammatory diseases of the oropharynx; suspected HPV infection per ENT specialist or dentist findings; monitoring after HPV treatment.
Negative — HPV DNA types 6, 11, 44 not detected.
Positive — low oncogenic risk HPV DNA detected, confirms infection presence, physician consultation required.
Important: low oncogenic risk HPV is not associated with oncological diseases but requires medical monitoring.
