IgG, IgA, IgM antibodies to beta-2-glycoprotein 1, total (Anti-β2-Glycoprotein 1 Antibodies, anti-β2-GP1, IgG, IgA, IgM, Total), ICL
The test quantitatively determines total IgG, IgA, and IgM antibodies to β2-glycoprotein 1 (anti-β2-GP1). These autoantibodies are key antiphospholipid syndrome (APS) markers and increase thrombosis and pregnancy complication risk.
Biomaterial: Venous blood
- Draw blood fasting (8-12 hours without food)
- Do not drink water
- Exclude alcohol 24 hours before
- Avoid stress and physical activity 30 minutes before
- If taking anticoagulants, immunomodulators, or hormonal drugs — inform physician.
- Suspected antiphospholipid syndrome;
- unexplained venous or arterial thromboses;
- recurrent miscarriages or pregnancy complications;
- systemic autoimmune diseases (e.g., SLE);
- disease activity and therapy efficacy monitoring.
Negative result — anti-β2-glycoprotein antibodies not detected; APS risk low.
Positive result — anti-β2-glycoprotein antibodies detected; characteristic of primary or secondary APS.
Important: results evaluated only together with clinical picture, thromboses, and other laboratory studies.
