Immunoblot in systemic scleroderma (SSc): Scl-70, CENP-A/B, RP11, RP155, fibrillarin, NOR-90, Th/To, PM-Scl-100/75, Ku, PDGFR, Ro-52
The test detects specific autoantibodies in systemic scleroderma, allowing diagnosis confirmation, disease form clarification (diffuse or limited), process activity assessment, and internal organ damage risk prognosis. Immunoblot includes: Scl-70, CENP-A, CENP-B, RP11, RP155, fibrillarin, NOR-90, Th/To, PM-Scl-100, PM-Scl-75, Ku, PDGFR, Ro-52.
Biomaterial: Venous blood
- Draw blood fasting 8-12 hours (no water);
- exclude alcohol 24 hours before;
- avoid stress and physical activity 30 minutes before.
- Inform physician of immunomodulator, hormonal, or anti-inflammatory drug intake.
- Suspected systemic scleroderma;
- skin thickening and reduced mobility;
- Raynaud's phenomenon;
- muscle weakness;
- breathing disorders (suspected lung involvement);
- elevated fatigue and malaise;
- positive ANA test.
Negative — autoantibodies not detected.
Positive — specific autoantibodies characteristic of systemic scleroderma detected.
Note: Results evaluated only together with clinical symptoms and other parameters.
