Effect of specific drugs is usually minor; anti-inflammatory drug intake may slightly reduce result

- Pronounced inflammation
- Autoimmune diseases
- Prolonged fever
- Chronic inflammation
Results evaluated together with clinical data and other lab markers.
Normal: IL-1beta concentration within normal range; inflammatory processes absent or within physiological norm
Deviations: elevated IL-1beta level; indicates active inflammatory process, autoimmune or chronic disease
