Liver Disease Diagnostics (Hepato IIF): ANA, AMA, AGMA, APCA, anti-LKM — Determination of Antinuclear Factor, Antimitochondrial Antibodies, Antibodies to Smooth Muscle, anti-LKM, Antibodies to Gastric Parietal Cells, Titer
The test detects autoantibodies associated with autoimmune liver diseases, including autoimmune hepatitis and primary biliary cholangitis. Used for diagnosis, disease activity assessment, and therapy monitoring.
Composition (IIF / antibodies):
- ANA (antinuclear factor) — detects autoimmune processes
- AMA (antimitochondrial antibodies) — marker of primary biliary cholangitis
- ASMA / AGMA (antibodies to smooth muscle) — marker of autoimmune hepatitis
- APGC / APCA (antibodies to gastric parietal cells) — associated with autoimmune liver and stomach processes
- Anti-LKM (Liver Kidney Microsomal type 1) — marker of type 2 autoimmune hepatitis
Biomaterial: Venous blood
- Submit fasting (8-12 hours without food)
- Avoid alcohol for 24 hours
- Avoid stress and physical exertion 30 minutes before
- Inform the doctor if taking immunomodulators, hormonal, or anti-inflammatory medications.
- elevated liver enzymes (ALT, AST, alkaline phosphatase, GGT) without obvious cause
- jaundice, fatigue, skin itching
- suspected autoimmune hepatitis or other autoimmune liver damage
- monitoring activity of already diagnosed autoimmune liver disease
Negative result — autoantibodies not detected.
Positive result — autoantibodies to ANA, AMA, ASMA, APGC, anti-LKM detected, indicating autoimmune liver damage.
Important: the result is assessed only together with clinical data and other laboratory indicators.
