Mycoplasmosis (IgG)
Test for detecting IgG antibodies to Mycoplasma pneumoniae, Mycoplasma genitalium. Used for screening, early diagnosis, and confirmation of infection, assessment of chronic course and past infections. Allows determination of IgG antibody presence, assessment of immune response, and monitoring of treatment efficacy.
Biomaterial: Venous blood
Fasting for 8-12 hours; avoid alcohol and potent medications for 24 hours; avoid physical exertion and stress 30 minutes before. Inform the doctor about antibiotic, immunomodulator, or hormonal medication use.
Chronic or recurring inflammatory processes of the genitourinary system; infertility or pregnancy complications; pain and discomfort in the genitourinary area; suspected venereal diseases; contact with mycoplasmosis patients; pregnancy planning or preparation for surgical procedures.
Negative — IgG antibodies to mycoplasma not detected.
Positive — IgG antibodies detected, may indicate past or chronic infection, physician consultation required.
Important: presence of IgG does not always indicate active disease.
