Neurotropic vitamins (Neurotropic Vitamins Panel)
Comprehensive study of vitamins affecting nervous system function (B1, B6, B12, and others). These vitamins participate in nerve impulse transmission, neurotransmitter synthesis, and cognitive function maintenance. The test helps identify causes of neurological symptoms and chronic fatigue. Recommended for sleep disorders, paresthesias, irritability, and reduced concentration.
Note: This test is NOT intended for screening vitamin status assessment.
What the test evaluates:
- Levels of neurotropic vitamins in blood serum
- Nervous system and neurometabolism condition
Biomaterial: Venous blood
Draw blood fasting
Exclude physical and emotional overload 24 hours before
Medications:
If possible, discontinue B vitamins 24-48 hours before
With nervous system diseases
With general weakness and fatigue
As indicated
In elderly patients
Low vitamin levels - possible B vitamin deficiency - impaired nerve impulse transmission and cognitive function
Normal level - sufficient neurotropic vitamin supply
Elevated level - may be associated with vitamin complex intake or improper diet
Important: Vitamin status correction and treatment prescription determined by physician.
