The test detects specific autoantibodies in dermato- and polymyositis, allows diagnosis clarification, process activity assessment, complication risk prognosis (lung involvement), and therapy efficacy monitoring. Includes ANF (Hep-2) and immunoblot: Jo-1, OJ, EJ, PL-7, PL-12, SRP, HMGCR, Mi-2α, Mi-2β, TIF1γ, NXP2, SAE1, MDA5, SSA/Ro52, PM-Scl75, PM-Scl100, Ku.
Biomaterial: Venous blood
- Draw blood fasting 8-12 hours (no water);
- exclude alcohol 24 hours before;
- avoid stress and physical activity 30 minutes before. I
- nform physician of immunomodulator, hormonal, or anti-inflammatory drug intake.
- Muscle weakness;
- muscle pain and stiffness;
- skin rashes (face, hands, forearms);
- swallowing disorders;
- breathing difficulties;
- elevated ESR and CRP without obvious cause;
- autoimmune myositis differential diagnosis.
Negative — autoantibodies not detected.
Positive — specific autoantibodies characteristic of dermatomyositis or polymyositis detected.
Note: Results evaluated only together with clinical symptoms and other parameters.
