Profile 23 — Connective tissue disease screening (SSc, Sjögren's, CREST, dermato/polymyositis): ANF + Immunoblot 23 markers
The test detects antinuclear antibodies and their varieties. Immunoblot includes: nucleosomes, histones, SS-A, Ro-52, SS-B, nRNP/Sm, Sm, Mi-2 alpha, Mi-2 beta, Ku, CENP A, CENP B, Sp100, PML, Scl-70, PM-Scl100, PM-Scl75, RP11, RP155, gp210, PCNA, DFS70. Used to diagnose systemic autoimmune connective tissue diseases, clarify disease type, and assess activity.
Biomaterial: Venous blood
- Draw blood fasting 8-12 hours (no water);
- exclude alcohol 24 hours before;
- avoid stress and physical activity 30 minutes before.
- Inform physician of immunomodulator, hormonal, or anti-inflammatory drug intake.
- Suspected systemic connective tissue diseases;
- joint pain and stiffness; muscle weakness;
- dry eyes and mouth; skin rashes;
- elevated fatigue and temperature without cause;
- hair loss; positive ANA test;
- autoimmune disease course monitoring.
Negative — autoantibodies not detected; systemic autoimmune disease probability lower.
Positive — specific autoantibodies detected; may indicate certain autoimmune disease.
Note: Results evaluated only together with clinical symptoms and other parameters.
