Immunological marker for diagnosing autoimmune and inflammatory diseases, primarily rheumatoid arthritis. Not performed in Aktobe
Biomaterial: Venous blood
- Submit fasting (8-12 hours without food)
- Water intake is allowed
- Avoid alcohol and fatty food for 24 hours
- Avoid smoking and physical exertion/stress 30 minutes before
Medications: when taking medications (especially hormonal and immunomodulatory) — inform the doctor; self-discontinuation of medications is not allowed
Prescribed for:
- joint pain and stiffness
- joint swelling
- suspected rheumatoid arthritis
- systemic connective tissue diseases
Positive result — possible rheumatoid arthritis, other autoimmune or chronic inflammatory diseases
Negative result — rheumatoid arthritis is unlikely (does not exclude the disease at early stages)
For abnormalities, consultation with a rheumatologist is recommended. Self-treatment is contraindicated.
