Detects Candida yeast-like fungi in intestine and determines antifungal sensitivity. Confirms intestinal candidiasis and helps select effective treatment.
Deviation mechanism: Candida — opportunistic intestinal microflora; with immunity decrease or microflora imbalance → actively proliferates, causes inflammation. Culture determines fungi presence and antifungal sensitivity.

Stool in sterile container
Avoid antifungal drugs 48-72 hours before (by physician agreement)
Do not use laxatives 24 hours before
Collect fresh stool and deliver quickly
Frequent diarrhea or constipation; bloating and abdominal pain; suspected intestinal candidiasis; immunocompromised; after prolonged antibiotic therapy.
Candida fungi detected — quantity and drug sensitivity listed.
Not detected — Candida fungi not found.
