Water-soluble vitamins (Water-Soluble Vitamins Panel)
Comprehensive study of B vitamins and vitamin C, participating in energy, protein, and carbohydrate metabolism. Water-soluble vitamins play a key role in nervous system function, hematopoiesis, and immune protection. The test helps detect deficiency associated with stress, unbalanced diet, and GI diseases. Recommended for chronic fatigue, anemias, and neurological symptoms.
Note: This test is NOT intended for screening vitamin status assessment.
What the test evaluates:
- Levels of water-soluble vitamins in blood serum
- Energy metabolism and nervous system condition
Biomaterial: Venous blood
- Draw blood fasting
- Exclude intense physical activity 24 hours before
Medications:
If possible, discontinue vitamin complexes 24-48 hours before
- For vitamin status assessment
- With neurological symptoms
- With anemias
- With absorption disorders
Low vitamin levels - possible B vitamin and vitamin C deficiency - metabolism, hematopoiesis, and immune function disorders
Normal level - sufficient water-soluble vitamin supply
Elevated level - may be associated with vitamin complex intake or improper diet
Important: Vitamin status correction and treatment prescription determined by physician.
