At KAZMED, we've created a convenient pathway so you can undergo parasite testing as accurately and comfortably as possible.

Our KAZMED Center for Parasitology will help guide you through the journey from initial testing to full health recovery, under the supervision of experienced specialists

Step 1

Initial parasite test

We recommend starting with stool microscopy for 22 types of helminths and protozoan cysts.

This method helps detect common parasites affecting your overall health and GI tract.

If needed, the doctor may order PCR or ELISA tests to clarify the diagnosis.

* Be sure to review the sample collection instructions before testing

Step 2

Consultation with a parasitologist

After receiving your results, you can book an appointment with our infectious disease specialist/parasitologist, who will:

Interpret your test results
Order additional tests if needed (coprology, Kolonoflor, calprotectin, etc.)
Develop an individual treatment and recovery plan

If you already have a referral from an outside doctor, you can go straight to having the necessary tests done without a consultation.

Step 3

Comprehensive GI tract check

For a more thorough diagnosis, we can offer:

Coprology — assessment of food digestion and inflammatory processes
Pancreatic elastase — pancreatic function
Calprotectin — inflammation marker
Kolonoflor — intestinal microbiota and others.

All test results are discussed with a doctor and come with personalized recommendations.

Step 4

Personal health certificate

After completing full diagnostics at our KAZMED Center for Parasitology, you'll receive a personal Health Certificate confirming that you have:

Taken parasite tests
Visited a parasitologist
Received a health assessment report

When is it especially important to seek help?
