Cleansing Enema
A cleansing enema is a medical procedure involving the introduction of liquid into the rectum for mechanical cleansing of the lower sections of the large intestine from fecal matter and gas.
The procedure is used for preparation for diagnostic examinations (colonoscopy, irrigoscopy, abdominal ultrasound), surgical procedures, as well as for chronic constipation and intoxication. Performed strictly by physician prescription in a procedure room with full compliance with sanitary standards.

- После процедуры рекомендуется горизонтальное положение в течение 15–20 минут
Preparation:
- The procedure is performed only by physician prescription
- Avoid food and water 1–2 hours before the enema
- Inform the physician about hemorrhoids, rectal fissures, or inflammatory bowel conditions — these may be contraindications
- When preparing for colonoscopy or surgery, strictly follow the physician's prescribed scheme
- A horizontal position for 15–20 minutes is recommended after the procedure
