Doppler Ultrasound of Arteries of One Lower Limb
Doppler ultrasound of the arteries of one lower limb examines the arterial blood flow of one leg from the femoral artery to the foot arteries. Indicated for unilateral vascular lesions, post-operative monitoring (bypass, stenting) on one limb, or asymmetric symptoms.
The method accurately determines the level, degree, and extent of vascular damage: stenosis (narrowing), occlusion (blockage), or aneurysmal dilation. The examination takes 20–25 minutes.

Preparation:
- Avoid intense physical activity 2 hours before the examination
- Do not smoke 2 hours before the procedure
- Do not take vasoconstrictive medications on the day of examination without physician approval
- Wear loose clothing that allows easy access to the legs
- If you have varicose veins — remove compression stockings 20–30 minutes before the examination
- No special diet or fasting required
