Removal of Ingrown and Fungus-Affected Nails
Surgical removal of an ingrown nail (onychocryptosis) and a nail affected by fungus (onychomycosis) is an effective treatment method that eliminates the cause of the problem. For onychocryptosis, the surgeon removes the ingrown edge of the nail plate along with part of the matrix, preventing re-ingrowth. For total fungal damage, the nail plate is completely removed.
The procedure is performed under local anesthesia and takes 20–30 minutes.
Price: from 8,400 KZT. The final cost depends on the complexity and extent of the procedure and will be determined by the doctor after your consultation.
