Rib X-ray
A Rib X-ray is a diagnostic imaging examination used to evaluate the ribs and chest wall for fractures, injuries, and other bone abnormalities. It is commonly performed after chest trauma or when a rib fracture is suspected.
A rib X-ray helps identify rib fractures, stress fractures, and other injuries, while also detecting complications such as pneumothorax (collapsed lung) or pleural injury that may occur following trauma.

- Rib fractures and stress fractures
- Displaced bone fragments

If necessary, your physician may also recommend a Chest X-ray to provide a more comprehensive assessment of the lungs and pleural cavity.
